Presentazione INTERNI Magazine Giarre 03/08/2017

The Interni Magazine’s July-August issue, focusing on Sicily, is set to be unveiled on August 3rd at 6:30 p.m. The venue for this event is the Radicepura Botanical Garden in Giarre, located in Catania. This launch is part of the Radicepura Garden Festival of the Mediterranean, Italy’s premier event dedicated to garden design and landscape, scheduled to run until October 21st.

Titled “Sicilian Mood,” the magazine serves as a comprehensive exploration of design and architecture within the island. The eye-catching cover art was exclusively crafted by renowned fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who have consistently found inspiration in Sicily.

The publication offers readers a captivating journey through Sicily’s various highlights, encompassing architecture (ranging from homes to resorts, featuring acclaimed architects such as Marco Merendi, Carlo Pintacuda, Corrado Papa, Gordon Guillaumier), art (including contributions from Carla Accardi), culinary delights, design, graphic arts (featuring Cinzia Ferrara, Atelier 790Go Marketing and Comunicazione), Sicilian-inspired craftsmanship, pop design, and notable companies (Nero SiciliaMade a manoOrange FiberEdizioni PrecarieLithea).

Within its 210 pages, the magazine presents a series of reflections on creativity, talent, innovative ideas, new projects, and the evolving production landscape in Sicily. It acknowledges the accomplishments of numerous designers who have achieved recognition beyond their native Sicily, such as  Giovanni Levanti to Francesco LibrizziVittorio VeneziaGaetano di Gregorio. Additionally, it explores education, projects, and the challenges faced in a region with untapped potential, highlighting institutions like Accademia AbadirMADE Program
